-Like the part 1, this part 2 fanfiction is from Scotty & Thia's point of views. The point of views come after the other. I decided to write this like what it is now because it's better for us if we know every sides by giving you the chance to know the point of view of Scotty and Thia's. So, this is basically made equally. It starts with Scotty's point of view and it ends with Thia's point of view.  It contains some/few of my point of views because these are the ones that I think can't be made as Scotty or Thia's point of view. I hope, this will not make you confuse. But if ever it does, please bear with it. Eventually

Part 2

He misses her. He misses her smile…her laugh. Whenever he goes to the balcony, whenever he sees the nature, whenever he drinks his tea and whenever he sees the moon at night, he would remember her. She’s everywhere…she’s in his thoughts. She’s not just in his mind…she’s in his heart.

                         
The green grasses…the green leaves of the trees…it reminded him of her favorite color.

He can’t help but think of how she is now. He wonders if she still thinks of him even just once in a while. He’ll be hurt to know that he’s out of her mind and most importantly, of her heart. Does she also remember him whenever she looks at the moon? Will she remember him whenever she drinks tea?

Oh, how he misses her so much. He tries to live normally. But, how could he do that when it isn’t the same now that she’s out there? He couldn’t manage to live his usual life because he feels something, or rather someone, is missing.

She is a piece that completed the puzzle of his heart…of his life. (Puzzle of my Heart by Westlife, playing)

I guess, he’ll have to wait until the time when the puzzle will finally be completed again…….

People may think that her absence in the competition wouldn’t be felt at all because she isn’t a talker. But, her fans felt it. & so was he. He felt it more terribly.

After her elimination, she became busy with some interviews and tv guestings. She was more interactive with her fans. She became more active in replying to them. After these, the fans would get updated through her twitter account. But how lucky was he that they have their privacy because they would text each other. Surely, they didn’t want to share those sweet little conversations with the public. Those were best kept only between them.

But still, the fans wouldn’t be denied by the tweets of these two, which contain clues (or signs) and definitely has double meanings. Were those some kind of passing secret messages to each other through twitter?

She is definitely aware that he is being partnered with her BFF in the competition. She wouldn’t deny that she would feel a pang whenever she sees them singing together on stage. If only he’s singing those songs with her. Everytime he’s with her BFF, she wishes it was her.

She isn’t jealous…because she knows the truth. But, of course, she would not avoid feeling some pain. She is still a human after all.

But she’s happy more than ever because she felt the support of her fans much more even though she was already out of the competition.

On the other hand, he noticed that they are a fair few who expressed their admiration to her through twitter. A few guys and some young boys have crushes on her. They even said “I Love You” to her through twitter. He couldn’t help but smile. They were also struck by the Thia Magic and Charm like him. But, in a way, he felt quite jealous. The reason…she would reply to them by saying the phrase “I love you too”. But then, those are purely platonic. He wouldn’t get jealous, after all.

One day, she was suddenly asked through twitter on how he would describe Scotty. She somewhat panicked. She didn’t really know what to answer. So, she simply said, “Super cool guy! :)”

He also received a tweet asking him how he would describe Thia. He just got much tensed. Whatever description he could think of would give away the fact that he feels something for her. He was asked by the management not to entertain these kinds of tweet because they need to protect the “love team” that they are putting/building up.

He doesn’t want that. He doesn’t want to pretend. But he would be proud to the world that he’s in love with Thia. Then, he realized, what would the fans of her BFF do or say to Thia if it will be proven that Thia is the one in his heart and not her BFF? It would be worse for her if he chooses not to pretend with her BFF. It would be better for Thia and they’ll leave her alone if he chooses to pretend. He’s sure that, Thia’s welfare is first, Thia should be first before his and before him.

So, he decided not to reply to that tweet.

During the chat in Thia’s website, she described him as a “great guy”. That answer summed it all up, indeed.

She became busy with her school works. As much as possible, she still has some time with her phone and her twitter.

The famous “we are friends” line. This particular line is very famous among famous personalities that are being linked with each other. People don’t really believe this when they hear it. Because they know that it’s actually the other way around that is true.

Scotty and Thia managed to watch the videos of them together. They are flattered with these. They are cool about it. Most importantly, they appreciated it.

The fans needed confirmation. It has to really come from them if they’re just friends or more than that. But the more they are pushed, the more they build up a wall.

TEXT…

Thia: What should we say?

Scotty: I’m not really sure. What do you suggest?

Thia: What if you tell your own message, I will tell mine. Just tell them whatever we want to say.

Scotty: Great idea! :) Did I ever tell you that you’re awfully smart? I can’t even catch up with you!

Thia: No, you never mentioned it. This is the first time.

Scotty: :D well, now you already know.

Thia: Yeah, I already know…

Scotty: What’s the matter Thi? Are you okay?

Thia: Yeah. Don’t worry… :)

Scotty: Just tell me if you’re not okay. I’ll do the best that I can to help you.

Thia: Thank you :)

Scotty: Tell this to the fans, “Thanks to all ScoThia Knights! You know me and Thia are…”

Thia: Are you sure of it?

Scotty: Yeah :D

Thia: But it isn’t complete! What is the continuation?

Scotty: Just leave it like that Thi. Please. It’s better to leave it that way.

Thia: It’ll put a different meaning to it. Shouldn’t we put “friends”?

Scotty: No, Thi.

Thia: But why? They’ll think we are not just friends. They’ll think that we are more than that!

Scotty: Aren’t we?

She became speechless. She was surprised. Now, she didn’t know what to say.

Scotty: Thi?

Thia: What do you mean by that?

Scotty: Aren’t we?

Thia: We are friends. Yes, we are.

He was disappointed. He thought she would understand it. He thought she would get the hint. But she didn’t.

What else would she say? He took her by surprise. He caught her off guard. As much as she wanted to say the contrary, she was afraid of something. That fear is yet to be revealed…

She told the ScoThia fans that what he wanted to say to them. And she added it by saying, “we are friends :)”. Yes, they are. But are they even more than that? Are their feelings for each other just plainly platonic?

Then came Thia’s homecoming. How happy she was. He was already okay because he saw her huge smile. Still he misses her. And he can’t wait until he could see her again. Second, minutes, hours, days and weeks past, but it felt like years for him. Then, he thought, there’s a way to fill that longing.

He would dedicate each song for her. And he hoped she would know and feel that those are for her…

When she mentioned him twice in one of tweets when she tweeted those who were still in the competition that she misses them, he was surprised more than ever. She didn’t do it intentionally. She, herself, is not sure why she did it and why that happened. It was just an accident. Then, he realized, the fans will get crazy because of that incident.

She’s right. They did. With that only one particular tweet, it went crazy.

The fans teased her. She smiled when they tweeted back and said that she just miss him “twice” as much. & that in her “subconscious” mind, Scotty is really there. She asked herself, “So, what really happened?” Does she need to study psychology to fully understand that “subconscious” mind? Perhaps, it was just merely an accident or it just proves that he really has a special part in her life.

Did she miss him twice as much? Yes, maybe she did…Knowing that she became very busy again with school which took up most of the place in her mind, it seems that he’s still there in her mind. His presence is present whatever weather it is.

Just as suddenly the one of the best ScoThia picture ever surfaced, a tweet of Scotty sent the world in the highest magnitude of earthquake. It was more than shaken. But the moon is actually not in the Earth.

Scotty couldn’t sleep. This reminded him of her. He went down to the kitchen and made his tea.

He remembered her say, “Good night and thanks for your sweet tea, Scotty.”

He remembered every single word that she said not only during that night, the very first night where they drank tea together. That was the first time when he put his right hand on his left chest because of her and when he discovered what (or rather who) his heart felt.

He brought the tea with him when he went to the balcony. It was a nostalgic night for him. He would never forget when they accidentally held hands in a balcony. He could see her face while she was admiring the view. When he looked up, he saw the moon. It is not as bright as when she is around. It becomes so beautiful when she’s just there. He thought, “I hope you’re also looking at the moon right now Thi. Because when you do, it proves that we’re connected.”

He wasn’t sure if he’s just imagining but he could see her face on the moon…

Maybe it was a sign. Why didn’t he check the moon is full that night?

A few miles away from where he is, Thia is sitting on a bench in their backyard. Her mother arrived near her but she didn’t notice it. Her mom caught her looking at the moon. She watched Thia’s face. She’s her mother. She knows her daughter by heart. She can see the longing in her eyes and an absence in her face.

“Aren’t you going to bed?” she asked her youngest. 

She looked back at her Mom.

Instead of answering her mother’s question, she asked her, “Mom, do you notice how bright the moon is tonight?”

She went to sit beside her.

“Yes, I noticed….”she replied. “It is a full moon.”

“It is so bright…Brighter than usual.” She paused a bit. Then she continued, “The last time I saw the moon this bright, I was with…” She suddenly stopped as if she became aware that she’s about to say his name in front of her mother.

You know Thi, I once watched a movie about the magic of the moon,” her Mom told her.

“What is it Mom?” she asked curiously…her eyebrow crossed.

“In our planet, there’s only one moon. The moon can be seen not only from one place. When you look at it, there’s a feeling of connection, of love…regarding someone or something that is literally far away from you. When both of you are not aware that you are actually looking at the moon at the same time from two far and different places, the magic gets stronger. You see, that is rare. It happens once in a blue moon. Looking at it at the same time when you are far away from each other not being aware of it is already the magic itself.”

“Mom, why are you telling me about the moon?”

“Because I can see and most importantly, I can feel…” she answered. “I’ll already go inside. Don’t stay here for too long. It’s getting late. You should already be going inside when I’m gone.”

When her mother was already inside the house, Thia whispered, “He is looking at the moon….”

He chose to sing the song Always on my Mind for one reason. He wanted her to know that she’s always in his mind. If only things are as simple as that phrase…

He poured his heart when he sang it on stage. He prayed that she’s not only going to listen to it, but most importantly, she’s going to feel it.

When she saw him sing that song, she didn’t expect him to get emotional. His eyes gave it all away. The moment he started singing, it was obvious that it wasn’t just an ordinary song. Why did he choose that song? As she was thinking of the answer…

Her mother was sitting beside her on the couch and she noticed the look of her daughter. When she turned to the tv screen, she told her, “That song is for someone. He misses that person so much. He’s trying to give that message to that special person through the song…”

There was a sudden pause……

“By now, she already got the message,” her Mom said softly as she turned to look at her daughter. “She should just be aware of it.” Then she left.

Will she doubt that the song is for her? Maybe it’s for somebody else.

Then, she saw him looking straight to the camera. The look on his face…those eyes…She’s neither dumb nor numb. Her mother was right. She already got the message.

She performed on stage again in the competition with her fellow eliminated contestants. She was so excited to see her friends who are still in the competition because she missed them. But she didn’t really know how and what to react when she sees him again.

When he saw her again, his pulse beat rapidly. He couldn’t help but notice that she looked drop dead gorgeous. She’s even more beautiful than before! Or maybe she still looks the same but it’s just that he just saw her now again that’s why it seemed to him that she looked better.

They didn’t really have the chance to talk. When, unintentionally, their eyes met, he suddenly saw himself standing on the water. How is that even possible?

That’s when he got the idea about the next song he’ll sing. She’ll get his new message to her through that song.

When she heard While She Waits, she didn’t really need to think. The song is for her and as he sang it by heart one more time, she listened to it with all her mind and heart.

The next thing she knows, the time ran fast. They were already rehearsing for the finale. The two persons competing for the title are both special to her. She really didn’t know who to root for. For her, they both deserve the title. But whoever wins between them, they are already both winners for her.

There was enough pressure already for him and it became worse when he saw her before the start of the finale. He would always be in awe but during that night, it was twice or even thrice as much. She looked radiantly beautiful. During the results night, she even looked much better. He was not just “wonderstruck”, he was love struck. & that is still an understatement…

His favorite look of her during that special event would be the short red dress. With it, she looked multiple times as much stunning. She wore many necklaces and the ring she wore was so cute, he couldn’t help but notice it. She wore high heels and with it, she looked taller. He got to admit, she became really sexy and hot in a good way.

When the announcement of the winner had started, she was not that far away from him. She was just close…

He became the winner. She hugged him from behind. She’s happy for him. He has gone that far. From an unknown country guy to a well-loved country man, he really grew as a person in all aspects. She managed to witness a part of that growth.

She remembered during the auditions, they weren’t close that time. Awkwardness was present. But when they began living in one house together with the other contestants, they started to become comfortable with each other. The first time they really talked was during the very first “tea” incident. & the last time they talked before she was eliminated was during another “tea” incident. And these were not planned…they just happened.

But the moment she would not likely to forget most would be the “balcony” scene. “Few words were spoken but the simple gestures are worth thousands of words,” she said to herself.

What was the line that he said during the incident? Ah! “You’re such a gentle spirit.” She somewhat felt that he wanted to say more but he didn’t manage.

But the most awkward was when they accidentally held hands. That was the last ingredient that would make it one moment that extracted many meanings.

The hug when she was eliminated was the thing she least expected to happen. She was more surprised of the kind of that hug & the message it signifies than the fact that he hugged her.

She wouldn’t deny that it was awkward whenever they would be left alone. The boys she’s close with, she considers them as friends or brothers and nothing more. And those are the ones she’s really comfortable with when they are around. She couldn’t help but smile when she remembers her crush because of the fact that she forgot who he was.

That is a great proof how innocent she really is when it comes to admiring or loving a guy. So, how is she going to handle it?

The hugs between the two, during that winning night for him, are worth than one kiss…

But why is that so? Because a kiss will be just a kiss if there are no feelings, genuine love for that person as someone vey special, involved. But a hug is not merely a hug because there are feelings present.

Indeed, the two hugs were worth that one kiss.

What did she felt when she saw the kiss? She couldn’t manage to give the fans a direct answer. Who is she? Did she have the right to feel that way towards the kiss? Is she forbidden to feel a pang when she saw it? She reminded herself, “We are friends…& nothing more.” Yes, they are. But that’s only their status and not what they truly felt for each other.

Even though the kiss is an in-your-face, the hugs were what made the mark to her. She wouldn’t spoil that very special night for him because of a kiss. Someday soon, they’re gonna have time to talk about everything. They’re not gonna escape from it.

“Meeting you was fate. Becoming your friend was a choice. But falling in love with you was beyond my control.”
