It’s not always that we get to see a superheroine lead either on local television and film or internationally. As sort of a feminist myself, I want to see some women empowerment and girl power. Women and girls around the world desperately need these right now. Just to point out how right the timing is, the SUPERGIRL US TV series is making a buzz in Hollywood. I have become an avid viewer of this particular US TV series. And it would be nice to also have another wave of our own superheroine whether it’d be in TV or movie. I am an Angel Locsin fan. Her role as Darna in television is basically one of the projects that propelled her name as one of the most popular Filipino celebrities today. She was the only reason why I had switched the channel to GMA knowing that ever since I’m a loyal ABS-CBN viewer. I admit that I was more than happy when she transferred to ABS-CBN and had received Best Actress recognitions since. I got to watch Darna, our own Filipino superhero, with Angel wear

Why do I love this? We can almost see Filipinos from all walks of life, places in our country we may or may not have been to, and we come to acknowledge Filipinos who we tend to forget and appreciate. We are thankful for the Love not only to our fellow Filipino heroes out there but of course, most importantly, the very reason why we celebrate Christmas, Jesus Christ. All of it was incorporated in this station ID which is very well executed. If that's not a BETTER station ID than the other, then I don't know what is?! #ThankYouForTheLove proud to be a Kapamilya ever since. I will also add that the song is really catchy. It has an easy recall to the mind of any person. The lyrics itself is meaningful and Christ was not forgotten to be mentioned. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5/5 stars rating. *Late post I have been doing some things so I wasn't able to post on the day itself but it is never too late. I had written a poem just for Nadine's birthday. Maybe one way or another, she'd get to read this.
