Happy 22nd Birthday Nadine Lustre!

I have been doing some things so I wasn't able to post on the day itself but it is never too late. I had written a poem just for Nadine's birthday. Maybe one way or another, she'd get to read this. Nonetheless, that would only be a bonus. 

Don't live by anybody's expectation
And strive for an image of perfection
To any, you've become an inspiration
But don't lose yourself and your own person

Happiness is not all about fortune and fame
Coz these world's properties will eventually wane
But your family, friends and fans' love will maintain
Unconditional support you'd expect to gain

As you turn twenty two
Always stay true and be you
And whenever you feel blue
Life is not grey, it's filled with hue

Happy birthday Nadine!!! Be strong and always remember you have all of us. We love you!

The Secret Circle book and tv series...

As I always say...when a book is adapted into a movie or tv series, it will not be exactly as the original. In fact, sometimes...the adaptation would become far different from the book. In that case, it will either totally ruin the story of the book...which will very much annoy the loyal readers. Why am I saying all of these? Well, after the Vampire Diaries of L.J. Smith , another one of her creations has been brought up to our tv screens...To the avid fans, i am sure you already know what am I talking about. But to those who are still not aware...I'm referring to The Secret Circle . The Secret Circle 's characters from left to right: Adam, Diana, Cassie, Nick, Faye, Melissa ( Credit to the owner ) And although the big difference is very evident from the book , I've grown to love this new tv series .
