On the Wings Of Love Pilot Episode is the BOMB!

 Napanood mo ba yung pilot episode ng "The Most Romantic Teleserye of 2015"? Manhid ka na lang o pusong bato kung hindi ka kinilig sa On the Wings of Love (OTWOL).



Sa umpisa pa lang ng episode, pansin na it does stand out from your typical Pinoy teleseryes. I love that there was a beautiful animation displayed at the start and how Nadine's voice can be heard narrating the story. Though you can't see her face, you could feel how smooth the right emotions transcended in that voice over.

You also immediately get the good vibes it exudes to the viewers. You feel good and as the story continues its course, you even feel better. Yes, it provides a great deal of sense of humor but at the same time, you'll also empathize with the characters' ordeals. 

Unlike any other Pinoy teleseryes, the childhood scenes of the lead characters were not dragged too long... because that usually takes a week. The way it flows on screen, the transition between Leah and Clark, it adds excitement for the next scenes.

The lines delivered by the characters are superb. You should really need to write them down on a paper. These are not just lines though... they get stuck in your head because you relate to it. You realize that these are true and we should learn from it. 

But what really stood out for me is the obvious improvement in Nadine's acting and James' Tagalog. Nadine's acting in OTWOL is definitely way inferior than in her Bagets and PS I Love You days. Konting polish pa ang kelangan... the same also with James.

The cliffhanger in the pilot episode is also a good choice... you become too curious on what will happen next. So, overall, I give it a four out of five hearts. Just because I know the next episodes will be even better.

 I'm damn proud of Nadine, James, the directors, cast and crew. I'm thankful to the Dreamscape management for taking good care of this project especially JaDine. And I'm happy to be a part of the JaDineland. A job well done for slaying it on Twitter. Darn, more than 1 Million tweets! Who says we won't be able to do it? I guess you can't underestimate us. Hopefully the ratings would confirm the success of OTWOL's pilot episode.

The Secret Circle book and tv series...

As I always say...when a book is adapted into a movie or tv series, it will not be exactly as the original. In fact, sometimes...the adaptation would become far different from the book. In that case, it will either totally ruin the story of the book...which will very much annoy the loyal readers. Why am I saying all of these? Well, after the Vampire Diaries of L.J. Smith , another one of her creations has been brought up to our tv screens...To the avid fans, i am sure you already know what am I talking about. But to those who are still not aware...I'm referring to The Secret Circle . The Secret Circle 's characters from left to right: Adam, Diana, Cassie, Nick, Faye, Melissa ( Credit to the owner ) And although the big difference is very evident from the book , I've grown to love this new tv series .
