JaDine: Damage Control

I will get straight to the point: James Reid can do whatever he wants to do. After all, it's his life. BUT I hope he would be rational enough to avoid what could be DETRIMENTAL to his and Nadine's LT. I know it is hard to put up a squeaky clean image especially when that's not who he is BUT at least make sure that his actions would not be DETRIMENTAL to the Jadine loveteam.

Both of them have obviously worked hard to get to wherever they are now and it would be heartbreaking to see it slowly crumble just because of the same issues popping up every now and then. How many times within a year does the issue of James partying or being in a club and seen with virtually many girls except Nadine? Like heck! I get it, that's his social life. That's what he was also used to be doing in Australia, why not bring that habit here?

Don't get me wrong. I admire James' work ethics. He is undeniably multi-talented. He got the looks and the body, no one can deny that. What I respect most about James is his selfless love towards his family. BUT other than those mentioned above, I guess we have to accept that his greatest imperfection or flaw is his VERY outgoing style of life. Sure, he can party all day if he wants. Go enjoy every once in a while especially when it's his free time. BUT EVERY THING in EXCESS IS NEVER GOOD.

He chose to be a celebrity. BUT what comes with fame and fortune is a HUGE responsibility. We all know that people look up to him whether it's only because of his looks and body, or his talent. Because of his influence, his fans would assume that what he's doing is okay and good. BUT if you're James, ask this question: Would I want my fans to emulate me? Of course, you do BUT not with regards to the whole PARTYING-DRINKING-AND-PROBABLY-GETTING-DRUNK-WITH-DIFFERENT-GIRLS. Oh yeah, I definitely understand that MANY tweens, girls and women alike would throw themselves on him.... swooning and drooling over his hotness (which is one reason why I am a feminist). If this is what his fans will see, they would assume this action is right EVEN THOUGH he has Nadine on the other side, as his love team. I got Nadine on the right and other girls on the left. 

Nadine is known to be a homebody. I remember James said during their last Gandang Gabi Vice appearance that: "It's not her thing. She's a good girl." (on why she is never seen with James when he's out partying). That's true. Nadine is just not that kind of girl. You can't associate her with the same image as the wild ones that the girls seen with James in clubs have. With this constant issue about James, it's certainly doesn't help their loveteam. It absolutely looks bad especially for Nadine, since she's the girl. What would be the public's perception whenever there is this kind of issue? Kawawang Nadine. Kapag offscreen na, yung ka-loveteam niya, kung sinu-sino ang kasamang mga babae. This is probably what most NON-Jadine fans will think. From their point of view, that's not far fetched. What's worse is: most of the time it's Nadine who's cleaning up the mess, whether it's his or theirs.

More than anything, I care for the consequences this will cause EVENTUALLY especially if this goes on. Right now, it may not be the worst but it can lead to that. I am all for Jadine ONLY for REEL not for real. I support their on-screen team up. Heck, I love On the Wings of Love. I will fight for their on-screen team up until the end. I will celebrate their success as a love team. 

Yes, I am an avid Nadine Lustre supporter since her Bagets Just Got Lucky days. Outside the loveteam though, when we talk about being real.... I am not for Jadine. Maybe it's an unpopular opinion but I am beyond satisfied that James and Nadine are JUST FRIENDS (JF). In fact, that's better. They have to focus on their career. That's on top of the list of their priorities. Then when the right time comes, they can freely parade to the public and flaunt all they want whoever they are in a relationship with.... whoever they are in love with or even whoever they have a fling with. 

Personally, with all these issues so far for Jadine, I'd prefer that Nadine would end up with someone non-showbiz... just the typical citizen. That man doesn't need to be hot and handsome or famous. She's a self-confessed selosa, so it'd be hard if she would end up with a guy that females are crazy with. I would want Nadine to feel secure when that time comes. She doesn't need to worry or even question her trust and his loyalty. Sino ba naman ang may ayaw lumigaya si Nadine... yung mahanap niya yung lalakeng perfect talaga sa kanya at hindi siya madalas bigyan ng sakit ng ulo at sama ng loob... yung aaalagan siya at hindi yung si Nadine ang mag-aalaga sa lalake. That guy who is not just willing but who will sacrifice for Nadine, not the other way around. Because the grandest gesture of love is SACRIFICE. 

I hope that 'some' Jadine fans would know how to draw a line between REEL and REAL. It's easy to fantasize so we could feed more the kilig that we feel with Jadine BUT don't get TOO caught up and stuck with that. It's not healthy anymore once you become BORDERLINE DELUSIONAL and TOO ASSUMING. Wake up before REALITY hits you in the face. Otherwise, you will feel worse once it's already there #justsayin 

With the constant damage control... it may work now but not forever, no matter how smart a publicist may be. If he refuses to learn from this same-old-issue-that-is-already-annoying, he will have no other choice but to learn from it when 'that' time comes. I wonder if he's going to wait for it to happen before he gets his act straight... It would be such a waste if ever things would end up in ruins.
