Voting for Nadine Lustre in MTV EMA
Power voting, as in literally, for Nadz as the Best Southeast Asia Act in
the MTV EMA. I even installed an auto-refresh extension just so voting would be
a lot easier and convenient.
I encourage all the fans out there to take every chance that they’ve got
to contribute and show our love for this humble and very much deserving talented
young lady by pressing that VOTE button as many times as you can. We just can’t
let this slip away. If you’re a Nadine fan or Naddict, you won’t certainly have
any problem because there’s no conflict. Thank God I am a Nadine fan first and
foremost because I KNOW that Nadine is my priority in voting and NOT the other
half of the JD loveteam. I am pretty sure, fans of the loveteam are actually
torn over whom they should vote more. Let’s face it, if you try to vote equally
for them, eventually you will lose count. That means you’ll actually end up
voting more for the other. But yeah, to each his own right?
To set the record straight, I won’t ever vote for JR especially when he
is up against Nadine. I didn’t vote for him in PhilPop 2015, I was for Nadine.
We are aware that Sa Ibang Mundo won the People’s Choice Award. Well, I guess
looks and hot body are not everything JR. Obviously, SIM was a much BETTER song
that’s why people voted for it and NOT because Nadine was one of its
interpreters. Let’s also be objective here. Me and You slays, not just the song itself but the music video too.
The song sounds international and the music video looks international. That’s
not the case with JR’s song. So, based from this criterion, I’d exert so much
effort in voting for Nadine than the other one. YET, looks and talent are not
everything (yes, I am still talking about you JR) because though initially one
becomes famous with these two, the longevity of one’s career actually depends
on the character, attitude, personality, behaviour, demeanour. I really hate to
state the obvious here (JR fans will go cray cray LMAO) BUT I’d rather waste my
time voting for someone that I’m certain will not be arrogant and
self-righteous if ever he/she won the award. I mean, why would I vote for
someone who has an ego as big as God-knows-what?
If you want your vote to be worth it, vote for Nadine. You will not
regret it. At least she has always been consistent with having humility. It’s
admirable, really. I’d pick her in a beat over the other. Why would I want someone
with a brain or head filled with fame and wealth to win?
