Happy Birthday Jessica 'Jay' Sanchez!

She might have not won the American Idol title but she definitely has won the hearts of people of different race, culture, creed, color and religion from all over the world. Let us all celebrate one of the most special days in her life. If she was not born, we wouldn’t have her.
                        
Happy birthday to the one and only, the ULTIMATE awesomeness and other worldly Jessica ‘Jay’ Sanchez.
                        
Jay serves as an inspiration to aspiring singers and more importantly, to youths, whose paths need to be straightened. She’s a good example to each of us. We have to admit that the very first thing we admire about Jay is her amazing voice that is way beyond her age. But allow me to mention the second one in my list that most of us tend to forget even though it is actually very vital.
                        
Her courageous and unwavering spirit when she went through bullying when she was still in school… And she still had that spirit throughout her journey of fulfilling her life-long dream. In every ordeal she had to face…..it exists right there in her. You can’t possibly imagine how could possibly be someone this young survive through it all. Even some people older than her couldn’t do the same. Thankfully, I am not one of them.
                        
She has worked hard all her life and that’s one of the reasons why she deserve the status that she has right now. The place she’s currently at……it wasn’t easy and she would have not accomplished it all alone.

We have yet to see her star shine more brightly but we already know that she will because she’s that GREAT. And I hope she continues to be an inspiration to others and avoid straying from the trail she had taken.
                        
Like what her Filipino fans did during her SKYPE party last July 29, 2012, I will sing the Tagalog version of the Happy Birthday song, “Maligayang bati. Maligayang Bati. Maligayang, maligayang….maligayang bati!” Happy 17th birthday Jay!

The Secret Circle book and tv series...

As I always say...when a book is adapted into a movie or tv series, it will not be exactly as the original. In fact, sometimes...the adaptation would become far different from the book. In that case, it will either totally ruin the story of the book...which will very much annoy the loyal readers. Why am I saying all of these? Well, after the Vampire Diaries of L.J. Smith , another one of her creations has been brought up to our tv screens...To the avid fans, i am sure you already know what am I talking about. But to those who are still not aware...I'm referring to The Secret Circle . The Secret Circle 's characters from left to right: Adam, Diana, Cassie, Nick, Faye, Melissa ( Credit to the owner ) And although the big difference is very evident from the book , I've grown to love this new tv series .
