A Merry Christmas Greeting!

Merry Christmas to each and everyone =)

I know that with what happened in Mindanao, the number of lives lost and properties that were damaged by the typhoon Sendong, many of our fellow Filipinos out there will not have a 'merry' Christmas.

I also feel for them...for this tragedy.

But let's not forget that Christmas isn't only about happiness or joy, it is about Jesus' birth and the fact that we should be thankful for all the blessings in our lives that are being given by God.

Let us look at the bright side of this tragedy... being given another chance to live is something that we should be grateful about. We should thank God that he made a miracle for keeping us alive. If your family was not stripped with even one member from the tragedy, you should be thankful and happy.

I don't want to sound harsh but, the people themselves have a fault for what happened. I do not blame the nature for somehow teaching the people a lesson. Does illegal logging means caring for our nature? No. It is very much abused. People never learn. They are so hard-headed. They do what is not good which shows that they only look at the present but not at the eventual result or outcome of what they are doing.

Livelihood...this is such a damn excuse  for cutting trees and not replacing it. It is not the right way to earn a living. There are still other means present...and these will not exploit our nature.

Did you forget that God made the people to take care of the world he had created? Its original beauty had vanished... Look around, you can see what's I'm talking about.

I believe in karma...

I am not an environmentalist but as an ordinary person, someone who had become fully aware of these things, I want other people to learn and change for what's best.

God has given us a sign. During these times, people suddenly remember Him. Maybe He wanted to awaken us because we already forgot about Him. It's so usual for people to think of Him only when they are going something bad/negative.

I am aware of what's happening in this world...in this country. And I believe that the change for the better starts within ourselves.

On a lighter note, I love how my countrymen (and even foreigners) unite to help the victims of the typhoon. From all walks of life, they gather together for one good cause.

Let us remember that Christmas is not just a special occasion.

Why don't we make each day special?

God bless us all =)
